Our Hexa-scared was inspired by the emblematic Jack-o’-lantern, those cucurbits whose hand-made perforations let candlelight pass through. Although there are no candles in the Manufacture de Chocolat Alain Ducasse version, they do have a delicious, subtle yet crunchy pumpkin seed praliné. This praliné was developed by our artisans from carefully selected ingredients and according to an “ancient” method: the dried fruit are poured into a copper container with the sugar before being carmelized then ground. Finally, our little bats will also find their way into the childrens’ (or adults’!) candy bags. In milk or dark chocolate, these creations, with lines unique to Chocolat Alain Ducasse, will add a dramatic touch to your Halloween décor among the pumpkins and the costumes.
The two chocolates used for these creations, the Signature Blend 75% and a Madagascan cru 45%, have been manufactured from the cocoa bean onward in the heart of Paris. The first reveals balanced and tart aromatic notes, while the Madagascan 45% offers notes that are more fruity and round.
