Belonging to the gelato & sorbet family, the Granita is light and thirst-quenching. Like sorbet, the granita does not contain any dairy products. It has a rougher texture, less smooth, due to its preparation method. The turbine phase occurs 24 hours before tasting in order to allow crystals to form. In Sicily, the origins of the granita, this beverage is usually served in the morning, accompanied by a brioche! Two varieties are produced at The Manufacture: a delicate Almond Granita, and an intense Cocoa Cascara & Lemon Granita. The ingredients are carefully selected and our Gelatiere's savoir-faire results in delicious, perfected granitas.
